Most of the counties follow a manual process where the architect can submit the Structural Drawings and Plans for approval, on behalf of the client. Other counties such as Nairobi, Mombasa, Kiambu City County etc, have adopted an electronic system called the e-permitting system/ e-Development permit System, an online platform through which architects can submit their Structural Drawings and Plans for approval.
