#On the dashboard, the applicant can view his/her recent application if there are any, and then click on the “Passport Application” hyperlink under the “Our Services” menu to go to the online application form.

#Read the provided details and then click on the “Next” to go to the Dual Nationality page.
#The applicant should then select “Yes” if he/she has dual citizenship or “No” if he/she does not have dual citizenship and click on the “Next” button to go to the Passport type page.
#Choose the type of passport i.e Ordinary or Diplomatic and then under the “Ordinary Application Type” dropdown menu, select “Replacement of Previous Passport” and then choose the passport page count, then enter the Previous Passport Number and the Personal Number (Immigration File Number) then “Next” Applicant Details page.
#Enter the required detail correctly and then complete the online application form by entering the “Parents Details”, “Next of Kin”, “Particulars of Children”, “Recommendation of application” and then upload all the required supporting documents and then submit the application.
#Once the application is submitted, the applicant will be required to the renewal application fee the ecitizen payment option normally via M-Pesa.
#Upon making the payment, print the payment receipt and download the passport application form.
#Then book an appointment with the Department of Immigration Service using the online portal for manual submission of the application and recording the applicant’s biometric data at the Immigration office.
#On the appointment date, attach all the required documents to the passport application form including the payment receipt and the appointment form then visit the Immigration office.
#At the office submit the complete application dossier to the officer at the service desk for verification.
#Upon the verification process, the applicant will be directed to the next stage where his/her biometric data will record.
#Then the applicant will be issued with the application acknowledgment receipt indicating the date the renewed passport will be ready for collection.
