===Apply in Person===&lt;br /&gt;
#	To renew your Flight Engineers’ Officer Licence, one has to fully complete and submit the prescribed application form ‘’’Application for Issue or renewal of a Flight Engineers’ Officer Licence Form’’’ which may be obtained from the Authority’s Personnel licensing (PEL) offices.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	This renewal form can be obtained by visiting the Personnel Licensing (PEL) Offices of the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority’s [https://kcaa.or.ke/contacts - KCAA Offices]&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;  &lt;br /&gt;
#	After filling the renewal application documents you are required to submit them to the Authority’s Personnel Licensing (PEL) offices or you can forwarded them to the:-&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#::; Director General,&amp;lt;br&amp;gt; &lt;br /&gt;
#::Kenya Civil Aviation Authority,&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#::P. O. Box 30163-00100, &amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#::Nairobi, Kenya,&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;  &lt;br /&gt;
#	You are required to submit the renewal application form with all the required documents for you to get approval to make payments for the prescribed application fees. These  documents include:-&amp;lt;br&amp;gt; &lt;br /&gt;
#:(i).	Copy of former flight engineer license&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#:(ii).	A well completed summary of the flying experience form&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#:(iii).The required renewal hours i.e. 6 hours&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#:(iv).	A valid Class I medical certificate&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#:(v).	Present a certified logbook or other flight record to substantiate the required hours (Make copy of the relevant log book pages for the licensing file) &amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#:(vi).	Pay the renewal prescribed fees. Kshs. 8,000 &amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	The receiving officers will check for discrepancies or ineligibility in the application documents. If a discrepancy that cannot be immediately corrected exists in any of the documents, the renewal application and all the submitted documents will be returned to the applicant and should not be re-submitted until the discrepancy has been rectified corrected.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	If the receiving officers is satisfied that all the requirements have been met for the renewal of a licence and the prescribed renewal application form has been completed and presented in the Personnel Licensing (PEL) Office, the applicant will be advised to pay the prescribed renewal application fees, after which the licence will be issued.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	You are also to proceed to pay the prescribed renewal application fees and submit the payment receipt to together with the application documents.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt; &lt;br /&gt;
#:*	A renewal fee of KSh. 8,000 is charged for the process.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	A processing time of 7 days is needed to complete the processing of the Renewed Flight Engineer’s license, after which you will be contacted through a phone call to collect your renewed license at the KCAA’s Personnel Licensing offices.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	You will be required to carry your identification documents when collecting your renewed license.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

* 	A person shall not act as a flight engineer of an aircraft registered in Kenya unless that person holds a flight engineer license with appropriate ratings.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt; &lt;br /&gt;
* 	Flight engineers assist aircraft pilots and engineering maintenance staff by operating aircraft instruments and systems.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
* 	Whilst the license authorises you to undertake the duties of a flight engineer, you must also be endorsed for the specific class of aircraft that you will be operating in.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
