#Here the applicant will be given an application [https://knra.co.ke/download/gklrp-4/ Form GK LRP 4] by an authorized officer to fill and submit.
#Fill in the application and attach the required documents. A list of the required documents can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
#Submit the filled-in application form and required documents to the licensing officer and pay the required application fees. The application fees to be paid can be found under the "Fees" section of this page or in the following [https://infotradekenya.go.ke/media/RadiationProtectionAct__Cap243.pdf link].
#Submit the payment receipt to the KNRA licensing officer, for review of the license application.
#After submission of the license application the KNRA officers will review the application for approval.
#The licensing officer may, in his discretion, grant or refuse to grant the license or to impose any necessary conditions on the license so granted.
#Upon successful review the licensing officer will issue the license to operate as a service provider.
#The processing time is one week after the submission of the application.
#The applicant will be contacted to collect the license after its issued. Proof of identification is required when collecting the license.

*No person / individuals can operate as a radiation worker in Kenya without license issued by the '''Kenya Nuclear Regulation Authority'''.
*An individual whose job assignment requires work on, with, or in the proximity of radiation producing machines or radioactive materials and has the potential of being exposed to radiation should register with the Radiation Protection Board and be issued with a license.
*Radiation workers includes any person potentially exposed to ionizing radiation as a result of his occupation.

*Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority (KNRA) is a public entity established under Section 5 of the Nuclear Regulatory Act No. 29 of 2019, which commenced on 10 January 2020, to provide protection of persons, property and the environment against the harmful effects of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation through the establishment of a system of regulatory control.
*KNRA is a successor of the former Radiation Protection Board (RPB), which was founded in 1986.
