#To apply for work permit in Kenya, the applicant needs to make an application to the Director of Immigration through the Directorate of Immigration and Citizens Service [https://dis.ecitizen.go.ke/  online portal].&lt;br /&gt;
#The first step is to register with the Kenya electronic Foreign Nationals Services (eFNS) portal through the following [https://fns.immigration.go.ke/account/login.html  eFNS Online Platform].&lt;br /&gt;
#Click on the [https://fns.immigration.go.ke/account/register.html   Create an Account] button to register.&lt;br /&gt;
#The applicant needs to fill in their personal information to register for an eFNS account.&lt;br /&gt;
#Once the applicant has registered to the eFNS platform, they need to login to their eFNS account to make the application.&lt;br /&gt;
#Once logged in click on “Submit new application” link on Submit applications tab to make the application.&lt;br /&gt;
#This will direct the applicant to the next page where they should make their next selection. Under the Permit and Passes Service Section, click on the “Apply Now” link in the Permit Issuance/ Renewal Tab.&lt;br /&gt;
#This will direct the applicant to next page; here the applicant should read the instructions carefully; and click on the “Learn More” button under the Class of work permit they want to acquire.&lt;br /&gt;
#Click on the “Apply Now” button which will direct the applicant to the online application form.&lt;br /&gt;
#Fill in the online application form with all the required details and upload supporting documents. These details include:-&lt;br /&gt;
#*Application type (new application or renewal)&lt;br /&gt;
#*Full names&lt;br /&gt;
#*Marital status&lt;br /&gt;
#*Gender&lt;br /&gt;
#*Passport ( number, date of issue, expiry date )&lt;br /&gt;
#*Date and place of birth&lt;br /&gt;
#*Nationality (at birth, present)&lt;br /&gt;
#*Country of residence&lt;br /&gt;
#*Contact information (phone number, postal address, physical address )&lt;br /&gt;
#*Current immigration status&lt;br /&gt;
#*Upload Passport photo.&lt;br /&gt;
#*Gratis status (All citizens of the East Africa Community (Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi) can attach their valid passport as evidence.) ,then click on the “Save” button&lt;br /&gt;
#This will lead the applicant to the next page where they are supposed to:-&lt;br /&gt;
#*Give details of every dependant they have&lt;br /&gt;
#*List permits that they have previously held&lt;br /&gt;
#*List previous applications which have been declined&lt;br /&gt;
#After filling the required details accordingly, click the “Proceed” button at the bottom left of this page for the next step.&lt;br /&gt;
#This will lead the appplicant to the next page (PART II of Form 25) which is to be completed in respect to the employment to be undertaken. The information include:-&lt;br /&gt;
#*Proposed place of business /nature of work&lt;br /&gt;
#*Name of business&lt;br /&gt;
#*Type of Business&lt;br /&gt;
#*Business/ employer  Physical Address&lt;br /&gt;
#*Available Capital (KSH)&lt;br /&gt;
#*Details of capital/Income available&lt;br /&gt;
#*Sources of Income&lt;br /&gt;
#*Present locality of capital&lt;br /&gt;
#*Technical or Professional qualifications&lt;br /&gt;
#*Details activity to engage in&lt;br /&gt;
#*Details of any license and/or registration required to qualify for the class of permit&lt;br /&gt;
#*(Attach ( Proof of available Capita / Academic Qualifications and experience/ Technical qualifications and Experience)&lt;br /&gt;
#Make sure to fill all the required details in this form then click “Save &amp;amp; proceed Button”. This will finalise the application and will direct the ap[plicant to the next page where they are supposed to give details regarding&lt;br /&gt;
#*Academic Qualifications(Give full details and attach certificates and testimonials)&lt;br /&gt;
#*Technical qualifications&lt;br /&gt;
#*Previous Work Experience (Attach Evidence)&lt;br /&gt;
#*What steps taken to confirm that the skills/qualifications sought are not available locally (Give full details and evidence)&lt;br /&gt;
#Make sure to fill in all the required details in this form then click “Proceed” to complete registration.&lt;br /&gt;
#After clicking the proceed button the applicant will be directed to the next page where they can print their application form and make payments.&lt;br /&gt;
#Once the application is submitted, an invoice will be generated which can seen by clicking on &amp;quot;Dashboard&amp;quot; then selecting the &amp;quot;Payments&amp;quot; Tab.&lt;br /&gt;
#Click on the “wallet icon” to make the payment via the provided payment methods. The work permit fee depends on the class of permit applied for. Details on the fees to be paid are in the “Fee” section of this page.&lt;br /&gt;
#Print the payment acknowledgement receipt and the online application form and present them to the Immigration Headquarters Offices in Nyayo House Nairobi or their regional offices for processing.&lt;br /&gt;
#*Make sure to present all the required documents to the immigration offices. A list of the required documents are in the “Documents” Section of this page.&lt;br /&gt;
#The applicant shall receive automatic notifications via email and on their online account about the progress of their application.&lt;br /&gt;
#Upon approval of the application, the applicant will be required to pay an issuance fee. This fee is to be paid annually for the renewal of the permit.&lt;br /&gt;
#After payment of the issuance fee the applicant will receive notification on how to collect their permit through their eFNS account.&lt;br /&gt;
#Print a copy of the work permit and preserve it for reference.&lt;br /&gt;

*A Work Permit is a document issued by the Director of Immigration Services, to enable a foreign national (s) enter Kenya and engage in trade, prospecting, farming, business, professional employment, missionary activities or even reside in Kenya.&lt;br /&gt;

*This permit is issued to a person who is a member of an institution registered under the Society&amp;#039;s Act who is engaged as a missionary, Member of a company limited by guarantee, Member of a trust registered under the Trustees Act and is approved by the Government of Kenya, and whose presence in Kenya will be of benefit to Kenya.&lt;br /&gt;
