#After filling form, the applicant attaches all required documents and submits application to any immigration service office. At the immigration office applications are viewed to prove legality of documents and correctness of information given.
#The applicant must then take oath of allegiance. An adopted child who takes oath is sixteen (16) years and above those below need not to take oath and at the ceremony, adoptive parents must be present unless with genuine reason and permission from the minister.

#After submission of applications, applicants are entitled to investigation by the Ghana Immigration Office. After investigation a report is compiled and submitted to the interior minister.

#After oath is taken, it is endorsed on the certificate of citizenship.
#After endorsement and after satisfaction that conditions have been complied, a certificate of registration is issued. The certificate is either on Form 6, 7 or 8.
#In cases where doubt exists, a certificate of citizenship shall be issued on Form 9.
#If publication was not done earlier, it is done after registration. The name, particulars and other details of a person registered are shown in the gazette.
#Upon successful processing of the dual citizenship application, the applicant will receive a dual citizenship certificate and a dual citizenship ID card.
