#Application form for Cattle Export Licence is available in the Ministry of Food and Agriculture or Veterinary Service Directorate office or International Trade Administration office in Ghana. #The applicant has to approach the respective office. Then, the applicants can get their application form.
#Read carefully through the application forms as there contain different section.
#Please complete each section of this application form as a Word document then submit a printed version of the completed form, along with the supporting documents to the MOFA or TRADE regional office or the head office for verification and processing and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
#Please refer to the fees details in the “Fees” section of this page.
#Pay the processing fees, upon which the applicant will be issued with a receipt.
#Return to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture with a receipt and obtain a valid government veterinary good health certificate issued at the point of origin valid at least 2 week from date of issue.
#If every condition of Licence is fulfilled and cattle inspection is done, a one year confirmed cattle trader’s Licence is issued to the applicant.
#Generally, the processing time for this procedure is 1 month.

*Identification of the cattle.
*Animal Health Certificate.
*Endorsement by accredited veterinary officer.
*Inspection report/certificate
*Proof of payment for the animals/authorization from the owner of the animals
*Application form for movement permit.
*Applicant should prove that he or she has resources and experience to engage satisfactorily in the business of a cattle trade.
*Proof that the applicant has never been convicted of an offense under the Cattle Traders Act and the Animal Diseases Act.

*Any person who makes any statement which to his or her knowledge is untrue in any application for the grant or renewal of a cattle trader’s licence or for the endorsement of a licence commits an offence against these Rules and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding five hundred shillings or to imprisonment for a period not exceeding three months or to both.
