The legal age is eighteen (18). If either party is under the age of eighteen (18) but at least the age of sixteen (16), the clerk cannot issue a license unless a notarized written consent of parent(s) or guardian(s) along with driver's license, identification card, or passport of all parties is presented and filed. <br />

However, the license shall be issued without parental consent when both parents are deceased or when a minor has been previously married. <br />
