#The following are some of the main steps to be carried out prior to the issue of a mining lease.
#*Carrying out a mining feasibility study and an approved cadastral survey of the deposit.
#*Preparation of an Environmental Impact Assessment Study (EIA) in accordance with the requirement of the Environmental Management and Co-ordination laws. This must be approved by the National Environment Management Authority. The EIA is subject to public comments before such approval;
#Applicant has to get the application form for renewing from the respective office.
#Applicant must provide all necessary information in the application form.
#Make sure you have all the documents mentioned in “Required Documents” section of this page.
#Applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting the application form.
#Fee for this procedure is given the “Fees” section of this procedure.
#If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the board will issue the license.
