==Need for the Document==
*A passport is a document, issued by the Egypt government. It certifies the identity and nationality of the holder for travel abroad. It contains information about the holder; like name, gender, date and place of birth.

 
==Information which might help==
*If the applicant has used-up all the pages of the applicant’s passport and damaged the applicant passport, the applicant may request for a new passport to be issued. Attach the old passport when you apply for a new one. In case of a damaged passport with valid visa, apply for a new passport and then to the Embassy concerned for a replacement visa.
*Change of Name/Status of a holder of a passport can only be applied in the Passport Office by the director of Passports. Do no tamper with the applicant’s passport or insert the names of the applicant children yourself.
