If you have lost your code card, you must revoke it immediately in order to prevent others from using it.

==Eligibility==
You can apply for a NemID if you:
*Have a Danish CPR number
*Have reached the age of 15
*Are able to meet the ID requirements.

No need for you to be a Danish citizen to request NemID. You can obtain NemID if you have a Danish residence permit or study in Denmark.

If you are under the age of 15 or do not have a Danish CPR number, you can only obtain NemID for online banking, if your bank offers this service.

Having a NemID will allow you to log-in on the internet securely. Once you have a NemID, you can use it on most computers with an Internet connection. It is very easy use, you just need to remember only three things: Your user ID, password and code card.

You will be the one to choose your own user ID and password – which you must remember – and the code card is a little piece of card about the size of a credit card which you need to look after carefully. You can also take NemID with you and use it on other computers.
