#The applicant shall present the duly filled application form and documents to the local CFIA office.&lt;br /&gt;
#In order for the exporter to ensure receipt of the phytosanitary certificate prior to shipping, the CFIA should receive the application at least ten (10) working days before the date of shipping.&lt;br /&gt;
#The CFIA inspects the shipment; Phytosanitary certificates are only issued when the importing country requires it as a condition for import and when the plants, plant products and other regulated articles in the shipment meet the phytosanitary import requirements of the country of import.&lt;br /&gt;
