#Submit the duly completed application form attached to the relevant supporting documents as mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page to the BHPC registry office.
#Upon receipt of the application file, the registrar will verify if all the necessary information and documentation has been provided and that the applications comply with the selection criteria before registering the application file for assessment and consideration by the Botswana Health Professions Council committee board.
#Applicants are required to make payment of the renewal fee and obtain a BHPC payment receipt and acknowledgment slip, which shall serve as proof of submission of the application and for inquiry referencing if the need arises.
#The board may require an applicant to furnish them with additional information or evidence of eligibility for renewing of the registration as it may think fit and may summon the applicant, to appear personally before the board or subcommittee for an interview or a written test. In such a case, the information must be submitted within a reasonable time from the date of notification. Where the applicant fails to submit the required information or responded to the summon, the board shall reject the application.
#The Board shall approve the renewal of the registration certificate, where the applicant continues to meet the eligibility requirements and demonstrates the required standards of a Health Professional.
#Applicants are notified in writing about Board resolutions, regarding their applications.
#If approved, the registration certificate/ BHPC blue card shall be issued to the applicant, upon presenting their identity document, BHPC payment slip, and approved a letter to be validated by the BHPC registrar's office.
#Where the board is not satisfied that an applicant meets the registration requirements, it shall reject the application and notify the applicant in writing, stating the reasons for the rejection.
