#The application form duly completed in all respect, and the supporting documentation should be submitted to the Botswana Land Board or Sub Land Board office within their jurisdiction.
#The receiving officer will then verify that all the necessary documentation has been provided and that the applications comply with the selection criteria before registering the file for the processing which is within 3 months.
#Applicants will then be issued with an acknowledgment letter as proof of submission of the application.
#Clients will be contacted to set an appointment with the land board office for a site visit.
#Both transferor and transferee must be present for a site visit of the plot with land board officials to confirm its existence and development status. (Only transferees can send representatives with authorization/representation letter and transferee’s certified ID copy).
#After authentication and completion of the processing, if successful the plot inheritance certificate will be printed on a paper with special security features and issued to the applicant against their identity document and the acknowledgment letter.

*Letter from Bogosi confirming inheritance
*Resolution from beneficiaries indicating heir / will
*Letter from the heir accepting the inheritance
