#Contact your supplier to give you details of the seed you want to import, i.e. the scientific name of the seed and the label of the seed. NOTE: Seeds must be ordered from a commercial seed producer in order to ensure accurate labelling and freedom from potential pests or diseases.&lt;br /&gt;
#Obtain the application form to import treated seed through the government of Bermuda website: [https://www.gov.bm/ Website]  or via this link: [https://www.gov.bm/sites/default/files/Application%20to%20Import%20Treated%20Seeds.pdf  Application Form]and fill it with accurate details.&lt;br /&gt;
#Send the application form to the Plant Protection Lab through the contact provide in “Office Locations &amp;amp; Contacts” section below to inform them of the seed you wish to import before placing an actual order to purchase the seed form the country of origin. &lt;br /&gt;
#The Plant Protection Lab will review your information and respond via email or letter, if they have approved your request or not.&lt;br /&gt;
#If approved, proceed and import the seed with the purchase invoice accompanying the shipment.&lt;br /&gt;
#Customs will detain the seed shipment upon arrival for inspection if it meets the entry requirement.&lt;br /&gt;
#If the seed shipment is determined fit for entry, it will be released to you. However, Seeds not meeting the entry requirements or found to be infested with pests, diseases, or contaminated with soil will be confiscated and destroyed.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

*All seeds must be clearly labeled by the grower or supplier.&lt;br /&gt;
*An invoice must accompany your shipment.&lt;br /&gt;
*Seeds must be free from all fruit flesh/pulp, pests, and diseases. Seeds that require moisture to retain viability must be packaged in sterile/previously unused paper, vermiculite, or commercially processed coconut coir. Seeds which are sprouted and have roots will not be permitted entry. Soil and moss are prohibited and must not be used.&lt;br /&gt;

Seeds coming into Bermuda are regulated by the Department of the Environment and Natural Resources, but you don’t need a special permit to import seeds. Seeds for animal or human consumption are not regulated under this policy.&lt;br /&gt;
The following seeds are prohibited from entering Bermuda:&lt;br /&gt;
*Citrus&lt;br /&gt;
*Mangifera&lt;br /&gt;
*Musaceae&lt;br /&gt;
*Palmae/Arecaecae&lt;br /&gt;
*Persea&lt;br /&gt;
*Any species which is known to be invasive or shows invasive tendencies&lt;br /&gt;
*Genetically modified seeds&lt;br /&gt;
*Seeds treated with pesticides for consumption by the general public (commercial farmers are permitted to import seeds treated with approved pesticide treatments, provided application is made in advance)&lt;br /&gt;
