Before applying for Maternity Leave, check the applicant’s organization&amp;#039;s leave policy to understand the eligibility criteria, the number of days the applicant can avail, and any other requirements.&lt;br /&gt;

#To Apply for Maternity Leave, the applicant has to approach the administration office of their respective working place.&lt;br /&gt;
#The applicant has to write the written request letter regarding the application.&lt;br /&gt;
#The applicant should provide a written notice of the applicant’s pregnancy and the applicant’s expected date of delivery to the applicant’s employer at least 8 weeks before the applicant’s due date.&lt;br /&gt;

#The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.&lt;br /&gt;

#The fee for this procedure is free of cost.&lt;br /&gt;
#After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.&lt;br /&gt;
#All applications are processed within a reasonable time, having regard to the particular circumstances of each application, including the completeness of information and documents submitted to the authority by the applicant.&lt;br /&gt;
#The authority may seek additional information from an applicant if this is necessary to assess the application. The authority does not need to deal further with an application until the applicant has provided this additional information.&lt;br /&gt;
