#To apply for Health Professional License in person, the applicant has to visit The Bahamas Medical Council.&lt;br /&gt;

#Complete the application form with appropriate information under relevant sections. Attest it with your signature once completed.&lt;br /&gt;
#Make sure that you have attached all the documents listed in the “Required documents” section of this page.&lt;br /&gt;
#Submit completed form with the prescribed fee of BS$210.00 to the Health Professions Council.&lt;br /&gt;
#:&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Note&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;: All non-Bahamians must submit a current work permit or contract along with their application. (Only a notarized copy will be accepted if the original cannot be presented for verification.)&lt;br /&gt;
#After submission, your application along with the attached documents will be forwarded for further verifications.&lt;br /&gt;

*A one-time registration fee and an annual license fee are required of relevant health practitioners.&lt;br /&gt;
*All persons registered are eligible for a licence that confirms them as a fully licensed medical practitioner, upon payment of $200 fee.&lt;br /&gt;
*The licence is valid for one year and should be renewed.&lt;br /&gt;
*Licences will be renewed upon submission of application for renewal and payment of the fee.&lt;br /&gt;
*Renewal fees must be paid by 31st December of the preceding year and no later than 31st January each year.&lt;br /&gt;
*Failure to pay within this period will result in a $200 late fee owed in addition to the renewal fee.&lt;br /&gt;
