Procedure[edit]
Vehicle registration in Swaziland is categorised in several way which require a set of documents for each category, the include:Motor Vehicle Registration (Licencing) from old to new number plates,Motor Vehicle Registration (Licencing). If you are already on new number plates,New car Registration (Imports),New car Registration (Second hand from South Africa),New car Registration(New car from South Africa).
- Prepare all the documents required to register your vehicle depending on the category it falls in. (a list of required documents is provided in the required documents section below.) make sure that you have all the required documents when you visit the vehicle registration office. In some instances you will need to visit a police station in order to get a police clearance certificate.
- To apply for the procedure, you will need to complete an application form.
- Submit the completed application form along with all other required documents.
- Pay the registration fee (the amount is based on the type of vehicle you are registering)

Eligibility[edit]
All vehicle owners are entitled to register their vehicles
Fees[edit]
The fees depend with the type of vehicle you are registering. In some instances fee is determined by weight E100 being the minimum fee.
Validity[edit]
A vehicle register under a certain owner is valid until change of ownership.

If you need a police clearance certificate, apply in person at your local police station. You should take car, Id and blue book to get the certificate.
